We collect the following basic personal information from you solely for the purpose of administering the Offerings:

  • Phone Number 
Does This PIPL Privacy Notice Apply to You?

This PIPL Privacy Notice applies to you if: 

  • You are a Person or Data Subject, meaning a natural person, not a corporation, partnership, or other legal entity; AND
  • Humanetics handles your Personal Information inside the borders of the PRC; OR
  • You are physically located in the PRC, and Humanetics handles your Personal Information outside the borders of the PRC in order to: 
    • Provide you goods or services,
    • Analyze or assess your activities, or
    • Comply with other circumstances as provided by laws or administrative regulations. 

“Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, not including information after anonymization handling. For the purposes of PIPL, “anonymization” refers to the process of personal information undergoing handling to make it impossible to distinguish specific natural persons and impossible to restore. 

If you are located outside the PRC and you provide your Personal Information to Humanetics outside the PRC, this PIPL Privacy Notice does not apply to that information. 

Purpose of Collection

The personal information we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes: 

  • To administer and provide the Offerings to you. 
  • To communicate with you regarding the Offerings. 
  • To ensure the security and integrity of the Offerings. 
Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information based on the following legal grounds: 

  • Your consent, which you provide when you use our Offerings. 
  • The necessity to perform our contractual obligations to you. 
Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your personal information with the following parties: 

  • Subprocessors: Third-party service providers engaged by Humanetics to assist in providing the Offerings. These subprocessors are bound by contractual obligations to protect your personal information. 
  • Legal Authorities: If required by law, we may disclose your personal information to government authorities or other third parties. 
International Data Transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of China. We ensure that any such transfers comply with PIPL and that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal information. 

Data Subject Rights

Under PIPL, you have the following rights regarding your personal information: 

  • Right to Access: You can request access to your personal information. 
  • Right to Rectification: You can request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal information. 
  • Right to Erasure: You can request deletion of your personal information under certain circumstances. 
  • Right to Restriction: You can request restriction of processing of your personal information under certain circumstances. 
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: If the basis for processing your personal information is consent, you may revoke your consent at any time. Upon receipt of your notice withdrawing consent, and if there are no other legal grounds for the processing, we will stop processing the personal information unless the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. Revoking consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the revocation. 
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your right to withdraw consent. Unless we need your personal information to perform a contract or provide a service, we will not withhold services from you because you do not consent to the use of your personal information. 
  • Right to Be Informed: Before we process your personal information, you have the right to know why we will collect your data, how long we will retain your data, how you can exercise your data privacy rights, and how you can contact us. 
  • Right to Refuse Automatic Decision Making: You have the right to opt out of automated decision making based on your personal data. 
  • Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format, such as by email or PDF. We will provide your personal information in a timely manner. 
Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. 

Retention of Personal Information

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this PIPL Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. 

Changes to This PIPL Privacy Notice

We may update this PIPL Privacy Notice from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Notice on our website and updating the effective date.
