Optimize fit and ergonomics by analyzing body shapes and proportions.
Design human-centered products and solutions using 3D body scan data.
A Standardized Process for Global Comparability
With our specialized evaluation process, Humanetics guarantees unmatched data quality - empowering industries with precise insights for fit optimization and ergonomic design. Our proven methodology ensures that data from different countries remains consistent and comparable, thanks to:
- Statistically representative samples, aligned with national statistical data.
- A combination of 3D body scans and sociodemographic insights from detailed questionnaires.
- Scanning in four body postures (Standard, Relaxed, Reach, Seated) to meet international measurement standards (ISO 8559, ISO 7250, ASTM).
- Flexible data collection, allowing additional measurements even after survey completion.

Expanding Global Body Data for a Better Fit
Humanetics has been at the forefront of representative-size surveys, starting with Germany’s first large-scale measurement study between 2006 and 2008. SizeITALY followed in 2012, adding valuable data to the European database. In 2019, the launch of Size NorthAmerica provided a comprehensive body measurement data for the U.S. and Canada, further expanding our insights. In 2023 Size NorthAmerica expanded to include babies and toddlers, ensuring even broader coverage.
The latest milestone comes from China, SizeWorld CHINA, where Humanetics conducted a representative survey of adults and, for the first time, children. With every new dataset, we enhance our ability to support industries in creating better-fitting, more ergonomic, and user-centered products worldwide.
