Versatile Vehicle Testing Solution

The DRm offers a flexible and adaptable solution for vehicle testing, fitting passenger cars, vans, light commercial vehicles, buses, and heavy goods vehicles. This modular system enhances testing efficiency and reduces costs, making it an essential tool for OEMs and testing facilities. The DRm is crucial for meeting the standards of the NCAP Truck Safety Protocol and NHTSA FMVSS 127 ADAS testing.

 

MODULAR DESIGN

The DRm system includes the SteeringRobot modular (SRm), the Steering Wheel Adapter, and the PedalRobot modular (PRmTM), available as individual units or complete packages (DRm150TM for heavy goods vehicles and soon DRm60TM for passenger vehicles ). Designed to accommodate various testing needs, the DRm's split design allows for rapid switching between Vehicle Under Tests (VUTs). The Steering Wheel Adapter supports steering wheels ranging from 330mm to 550mm in diameter, enabling easy placement without removing the airbag. The PRmTM mounts on the seat rail, optimizing foot space and maintaining a comfortable seating position for the driver.

The DRm box and accompanying battery are securely attached with a seatbelt mount or with ISOFIX mount, ensuring a rapid and secure setup for testing. The SRm will be available as a SRm60TM version for passenger vehicles and is available as a SRm150TM version for heavy goods vehicles with an increased torque.  The comprehensive design of the DRm system ensures that it can adapt to evolving testing standards, making it a reliable choice for extensive ADAS validation.

INSTRUMENTATION
Motion Data GenerationHigh precision GNSS unit collects motion data during test execution.
Motion Data OutputAfter each test, the motion data is synchronized and saved into a result file. The user can choose to evaluate the tests based on the generated result file or use the pre-defined evaluation software that Humanetics developed in combination with AVL.
